You put a lot into your business ... why? Is it for self gratification, you want to provide a special service found no where else or because you felt like it?

Our customers are the root and foundation of our businesses. Without customers, where would you be?
We have seen many companies forget they need to keep their customers happy to fund their business. They have lost sight of their big picture and are now focusing on all the little things. Granted, the little things matter, but at what cost? You don't want to lose sight of who pays your rent, utilities, supplies, advertising, marketing, salaries, etc. It's your customers.
Without your customers - you are out of business!!
You can set up a business, not complete a mission statement, a vision statement, set goals, open up a crazy little shop - decorated by your own creation. Yes, people will come in to see who you are. These people may even seem friendly. But will they return?
Have you yourself ever entered into an establishment (store, restaurant, etc.) to check them out? Sometimes you say to yourself "I'll be back" but other times you wonder "why did I come in here?"
Survey your customers often! Listen to what they have to say. If they provide you with some advice, consider it - seriously.
Remember: Always put your best foot forward!
